The death toll for the cholera outbreak in Haiti has risen to 300, with 4,147 confirmed cases of cholera according to CNN 27/10/2010. The outbreak may lead to "tens of thousands of cases" of cholera if the disease reaches Port-au-Prince's makeshift camps where 1 million homeless Haitians live.

Gerard Butler who is actively engaged in charity  work for the people in Haiti, is appealing to the public to donate  what they can.
