Gerard Butler; Annal Friel, Jeremy Clarkson, JLS, Dame Shirley Bassey and Sarah Harding are backing Sport Relief 2010 by appearing in an advertising campaign intended to raise funds for charity.

As of the 15th February 2010, UK residents may choose to donate funds to Sport Relief by purchasing an exclusive pair of Sport Relief socks for £2 from Sainsburies. At least £1 will go to Sport Relief.

The money raised will go to Comic Relief. The money will be used to transform the lives of poor and vulnerable people worldwide, such as homeless children, children who work in dangerous conditions and people affected by malaria.

Gerard Butler has been heavily involved in a lot of charity work recently, including helping the victims of the Haiti earthquake.
