It has been a rolla coaster year for Gerard Butler with so many movies lined up for production one after the other.

He's released 35 films to date and there are 9 more to go! WOW! Gerard Butler fans are in for a real treat!

The Gerard Butler action movie to watch out for this year is of course 'Gamer' which is futuristic action movie where society have evolved to the point of using humans to control other humans in multi-player online games for entertainment. We will report on this movie in due course.

To celebrate Gerard Butler's upcoming movie Gamer, we have just released an exclusive Gerard Butler twitter skin / Wallpaper for our Gerard Butler fans to download from our picture gallery.

The picture is designed exclusively by www.GerardJamesButler.co.uk . The Twitter skin is inspired by Gerard Butler and the concept of merging reality and gaming into one sphere. Article continued below ...

Gerard Butler appears to be standing in front of a wide pane wooden period door with a solid brass handle. The picture places the viewer inside a room that looks familiar to us. For us (the viewer), the door is the divide between the internal and external world. In this picture the door represents the divide between reality and another realm.

We are caught up in a static moment in time, witnessing the realization of an enchanting, bright and vivid world outside. A kingdom lies ahead in the distance, representing adventure, quest, challenge and fantasy. Gerard Butler stands in the shade. His body is turned, acknowledging our presence whilst appearing eager to step out into this adventurous world of Japanese Anime. This picture has the seductive appeal of transporting our imagination to another realm. This picture is about escapism.

Gerard Butler wears a hooded top, which is almost like a disguise, granting Gerard Butler the ability to anonymously blend into crowds unnoticed. Gerry can easily adapt to the world of anime with his choice of clothing.

In the world of graphic novels, clothing  plays an important role in defining our self, identity and our capabilities. Anonymity has many advantages in granting individuals abilities to achieve certain goals. Anonymity has the ability to liberate characters such as super heroes and villains from the social constraints that normal people face on a daily basis. Anonymity is sometimes considered a power in the world of graphic novels and gaming.

Being a huge fan of gaming, graphic novels and Gerard Butler, we thought we should mention that we think there is an uncanny resemblance between Gerard Butler and a character called Altaïr Ibn La-Ahad in Assassin's Creed 1 & 2 the computer game.

We have attached two comparison pictures for your viewing (See images above and below). Article continued below ...

As you can see, there is a resemblance.

We think it would be absolutely awesome if Gerard Butler was to consider the role of playing Altaïr Ibn La-Ahad if Ubisoft ever decides to turn Assassin's Creed the game into a movie.

So who is Altaïr Ibn La-Ahad? Well, Altaïr Ibn La-Ahad is a highly skilled assassin during the Third Crusade. Altair is the unruly protagonist in Assassin's Creed.

Gerard Butler looks the part and fits the role perfectly especially in terms of physical capabilities. After all, Gerard Butler has been trained by some of the finest military specialists, including Mark Twight who is a former professional mountaineer and current consultant for US army special operations.  We think this role would be a perfect fit for both Gerard Butler and Ubisoft.

For anyone who hasn't heard of Assassin's Creed 1 & Assassin's Creed 2 before, it is a well known and very popular action adventure game by Ubisoft.

Both games are available on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, NintendoDS and the P.C.

The first game is already on the market. The second game is scheduled for release on& November 17th 2009.

If you haven't played the game, we strongly recommend that you should try it. It is an experience worth considering, regardless of whether you are a Gerard Butler fan or not. Article continued below ...
